Well, another Vue scene. This time I got around the altitude functions for better color grading (as in wet sand gets darker - sound simple but it's one of those things that turns out it's totally not). Everything done in Vue, rendered with it's own rendering engine. Full radiosity/global illumination with 45% quality - something like "production", but I used more ray-tracing bounces. About 60 000 000 polygons, rendered in 72 hours at 4k panavision format.

Considering that she's the girl I love, I've invested a lot of effort in this particular drawing.

Mechanical pencil on plain A4 paper, 0.5 mm/2B, soft erasers, blending tissues - took about 12-14 hours. Additional Photoshop stuff - shading, vignette, background with DOF and selective coloring - some other 5-6 hours

Inspired by a scene in "Munich". bridge geometry done in 3ds Max, all else is Vue, rendering for a total of about 50+ hours. A real pain was the geometry displacement (the terrain is still fuzzy, but nothing more to do about it). A lot of post processing done in Photoshop.

Radio tower in the dessert. Inspired by the monotonous panoramas that can be seen while crossing the Suez canal. Tower and objects done in 3ds Max, the rest is Vue. Rendering also in Vue, took something like 120+ hours, on 8k resolution of the original; also lots of anti-aliasing, that ate up the render time. Post processing done in Photoshop.

Poser Model plus 3ds Max the rest. Rendered in V-ray.Geometry was pretty easy but the lighting took a lot of time to tweak, as the GI tends to make everything dull and uniform. About 6 000 000 polygons rendered in something like 20h. Selective color adjustments done in Photoshop

in XNA lara you have to download the lara models separetedly and put in the folder data wherever you install XNA lara.
then you can export.
and I've never was good with rigging her in 3DS max it's too dificult,
once I tried and her arms were at her head!

yup 3ds max rigging is a huge pain in the ass... but finally i got somehow an approximate result to what i wanted:) viewed from the camera the pose looks ok but on the other side total poly chaos.... well im gonna go with the 3ds max one... i want to use the pose for a kinda post apocalyptic scene where everything is flooded and some stuff is on fire:)....maybe in a week i'll finish it so you could check it out to see whe pose and the rigged model....:)

HI,I got the model from XNA lara.
in this program you can put her in any pose then export the obj. file in 3D program and make nice renders:

hey i've tried xna lara but it had no models... and i couldn't import (or couldn't figure out how to) the model from the game file:( the program had an manual but with not much detail in it:( ....
finally i found a lata from underworld 3d model and tried to rigg the bones in 3ds max.... but max is just insane at arranging the bones... i mean its such a tedious job... and the geometry goes to hell when you try to move something like eg more than 10 degrees for an arm... sad.... i'm just stuck
